United Nations Quality Education brandmark
The Objective
My teammate Brian Morgans and I were presented with the design challenge of working with another designer to develop a brandmark with mockups and brand standards for one of the 17 United Nations sustainable development goals. Brian and I were given Goal 4 which focused on quality education for all.
The Solution
Brian and I developed various iterations of possible brandmarks for the goal on paper first then switched to digital to combine the best elements and modify them to create a suiting brandmark.
The Process
Below you can see see some of the process work that went into developing the brandmark.
Research
Before designing anything we researched our United Nations goal 4 to help us brainstorm ideas and create a direction to guide our designs. We also created personas to help envision our target audiences and steer ourselves in the right direction when developing everything.
Collaborating
After selecting our subject we went through a series researching and back and forth feedback on our individual designs. We then broke apart our designs and creatively put together elements that only utilized the most effective and impactful elements from each other’s work. After doing so various times we continued to break refine the brandmark and build on it until it met our expectations. Feel free to click on the image to expand it and examine the details.
